We dare you to set a New Year's resolution that you actually keep. How about something simple, like try more craft beer? With 24 taps that change often and a cooler FULL of craft beer, we're sure to have something that pleases your taste buds!
Today we're talking about a few craft beers you may not have tried yet. We'll share some basic stats and why you need to add them to your must-try list! Let's start with a few currently on tap.
Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale
Brewery: Alltech Lexington Brewing and Distilling Co. out of Lexington Kentucky
As the name suggests, this beer is a mix of bourbon and ale. Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale is a unique sipping beer that is aged for up to six weeks in oak bourbon barrels from some of Kentucky's finest distilleries. You'll catch hints of vanilla and oak while sipping the robust and smooth ale. Because it is so strong, it can be served as an after-dinner drink.
State Park Blonde Ale
Brewery: Tennessee Brew Works out of Nashville, TN
Local brewery TN Brew Works creats this masterful beer with thoughts of the South. The State Park Blonde Ale can be described as "crisp, sessionable, American blonde ale with subtle honeysuckle notes on the nost, finishing with biscuity flavors on the palate." This particular brew is brewed in partnership with the Tennessee State Parks.
Brewery: Dogfish Head Craft Brewery
SeaQuench Ale is a session sour mash-up of a crisp Kolsch, a salty Gose, and a tart Berliner Weiss brewed in sequence with black limes, sour lime juice and sea salt to make this the most thirst-quenching beer Dogfish Head has ever brewed.
Brewery: Hi-Wire Brewing out of Asheville, NC
A balanced Western North Carolina IPA with bright citrus and tropical fruit aromas. Expect big grapefruit, tangerine and subtle melon flavors from the chorus of Mosaic & Centennial hops to balance out the malt in this dank & drinkable ale.
