Frozen Cocktails for Summer

Summertime is in full swing and there’s nothing we enjoy more than a frozen cocktail by the pool. Cool off with some of these frozen cocktail recipes and let us know how you like them!

Strawberry Rose Slushies


This super simple Strawberry Rose Slush will take you back to your childhood… with an adult twist!

  • 1 bottle of Moscato Rose or Pink Moscato
  • 1 pound sliced frozen strawberries
  • 1-2 cups of ice

Blend wine and strawberries together in a good quality blender or food processer until smooth. Check texture and add ice cubes and blend until reaching your desired consistency. The thicker, the slower it will melt!


Frozen Peach Champagne Cocktail


When it comes to frozen cocktails, many include wine of some sort. Using Champagne or another sparkling wine adds a fizzy depth to your frozen cocktails.

  • 4 oz peach vodka
  • 2 cups frozen sliced peaches
  • 3 TB powdered sugar
  • 1 cup ice
  • 12 oz chilled champagne
  • 2 TB grenadine

Combine vodka, frozen peaches, powdered sugar and ice. Blend until smooth, adding some of the champagne if extra liquid is needed. Stir in remaining champagne. Place 1/4 of the peach mixture in each glass. Add 1 tablespoon grenadine to each glass. Top with remaining peach mixture.


Frozen Cherry Daquiris


These Frozen Cherry Daquiris are wonderful by themselves, but can also be transformed into a decadent dessert with a scoop of vanilla ice cream *drools*.

  • 1 1/2 cups cherry juice divided, not tart
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 3/4 cup white rum
  • 2 cups frozen sweet cherries
  • Sugar to taste
  • Ice 
  • Vanilla ice cream (if desired)

Cherry ice cubes: Pour one cup of cherry juice into an ice cube tray (approximately 12 ice cubes) and freeze until solid.

Place 1/2 cup cherry juice, lime juice, rum, frozen cherries, and all the cherry juice ice cubes into a blender. Blend until completely combined and slushy. If desired, add additional plain ice cubes to thicken it. You can also blend in a little granulated or powdered sugar if you'd like it sweeter. Serve immediately. Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream if you'd like to make a float.

Perfect Pina Colada

If you like pina coladas and getting caught in the rain... you'll love these perfect pina coladas! The classic frozen treat has met perfection in this recipe.


  • 3 oz. light Rum
  • 6 oz pineapple juice
  • 2 ounces coconut cream
  • 2 cups ice
  • Pineapple and maraschino cherries for garnish

In a blender, combine rum, pineapple juice, coconut cream and ice. Blend until smooth. Pour into a hurricane or high ball glass. Garnish with a slice of pineapple and maraschino cherries.
