Craft Beers You Haven't Tried Yet

We dare you to set a New Year's resolution that you actually keep. How about something simple, like try more craft beer? With 22 taps that change often and a cooler FULL of craft beer, we're sure to have something that pleases your taste buds!

Today we're talking about a few craft beers you may not have tried yet. We'll share some basic stats and why you need to add them to your must-try list! Let's start with a few currently on tap.

Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale

As the name suggests, this beer is a mix of bourbon and ale. Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale is a unique sipping beer that is aged for up to six weeks in oak bourbon barrels from some of Kentucky's finest distilleries. You'll catch hints of vanilla and oak while sipping the robust and smooth ale. Because it is so strong, it can be served as an after-dinner drink.

Good People IPA

Good People is unfiltered and dryhopped. This IPA packs a punch! The herbal and earthy hops take center stage, tempered by light caramel flavors. It's crisp, delicious, and refreshing - a hop lover's dream!

Lagunitas Pale Extra

What does the Extra mean? Double dryhopped. The Pale Extra is citrusy, juicy, bright, and delicious...and HOPPY! On the tail end, you'll catch notes of pine, orange, and florals. A great beer to try if you love traditional IPA's. Did we mention it is hoppy?

Old Chub

Brewery: Oskar Blues Brewery
ABV: 8%

This beer is made for folks who think they don't like dark beer. This strong Scottish Ale is made with malted barley, specialty grains, and a dash of beechwood-smoked malt. Old Chub features flavors of coffee and cocoa but it's not too sweet.

New Belgium Blue Paddle

Blue Paddle is a Pilsener-Lager with a refreshing crispness and a rich malty and slightly bitter finish. The hops come through along with grassy notes. It's an easy-to-drink beer for you beginners!

The Ogden

Goose Island Beer Company does not disapoint! We get their beers on tap regularly, and we hear over and over how good they are. The Ogden is a Belgian Style Tripel that hails its name from the first mayor of Chicago. The beer is dry hopped and has spicy tropical flavors! This beer is bold. We love it!
