Family-Friendly Italian, Adult-Friendly Wine
Maybe it’s that you’re worried about Valentine’s Day being on a school night. Maybe you can’t find a sitter. Or maybe you really want to celebrate the day with all your loves. Whatever your reason, you are focused on having a family dinner. How about making an Italian dinner like lasagna, spaghetti and meatballs or heart-shaped homemade pizzas See more ideas for this theme on our Pinterest board: Family Italian Dinner

Consider serving the adults a glass of Meomi (may-oh-mee)  Pinot Noir. This Californian wine is crowd-friendly and pairs with just about anything.

Date Night at Home
If you are looking for a more gourmet option, we like the sound of one of these:

Pepper and Garlic-Crusted Tenderloin Steaks with Port Sauce from Cooking Light
Try with Liberty School Cabernet Sauvignon. This Californian red has flavors of red berries and cedar. It is ideal for a variety of dishes, but we think it tastes especially good with steak.

Chicken Cordon Bleu
Try with Lawson’s Dry Hills Pinot Gris from the Marlborough region of New Zealand. An elegant wine with a rich finish. One of our favorites.

Dinner Out, Dessert In
Sometimes the last thing you want to think about after working all day is dinner. So plan to eat out and then enjoy dessert in the comforts of your own living room. Pick up cupcakes, a box of chocolate or make ice cream sundaes and have an after-dinner drink at home. Consider the following:

Rum Chata: Rum is one of everyone’s favorites, and now you can drink it in a tasty, cream liqueur. Serve over ice or get creative with one of their many drink (and food!) recipes.

Rosa Regale: This red, Italian sparkling wine is the perfect complement to chocolate. It is semi-dry and definitely makes the night a celebration. If you are looking to stay in and have an entire meal, Rosa Regala can take you from appetizer to desert, pairing well with cheese, seafood, pasta and all deserts.

Kinky Liqueur: Kinky Liqueur is a fruity concoction that pairs with just about anything. It is made with fancy fruits like blood orange, mango and passion fruit and premium vodka. Try a Kinky Love Martini or Valentine’s Day Kinky Bubbles.

Late Night Chill
If you are planning for your Valentine to be working late, you could think about having a bottle of Relax Riesling chilled and ready to go when your love walks in the door. A best seller at Bluegrass, this slightly dry German Riesling is refreshing and crisp with flavors of apples, peaches and a hint of citrus. It is a delicious wine to serve while resting after a hard day’s work.
